A frequent traveler to India for over 20 years, Henry, the founder of The Ancient Wisdom of Yoga, Inc., teaches meditation and Ananda Hatha Yoga in the original, ancient tradition of the Indian Vedas.
Known as Ananda (Bliss) Yoga, this style of yoga is different from most others. Although it follows similar physical postures (asanas), the asanas are more gentle as scientific studies have proven that the mind controls the body.
Ananda Yoga emphasizes achieving a higher consciousness by awakening the kundalini which raises the chakra energy centers, directing that energy upward to the spiritual eye.
